20% of knee replacement surgeries cause unsatisfactory results -- metal hypersensitivity is a common issue.

Discover if you are allergic to metals before your knee replacement surgery with a simple at-home test.
Did you know that only patients with a history of metal allergies will be given a dermatological and laboratory test before surgery? For many people, it's too late.
It's up to you to discover any metal allergies before meeting with your surgeon.
Sensiband is a FDA Class 1 Registered Medical Device.
How it Works
Our at-home test kit reveals skin reactions to seven of the most commonly used metals in medical procedures. Sensiband Metal Allergy Test Discs are inserted into a silicone band to test for skin sensitivity to the metals commonly used in joint replacement and medical implant procedures.
The test metals include:
- Nickel | Cobalt | Chromium | Titanium | Molybdenum | Aluminum | Copper
After each test, you will learn your sensitivity and can inform your doctor. If there is a sensitivity your surgeon can order additional tests and order a special implant for your surgery to beat allergic reactions inside your body.
The standard Sensiband fits 98% of people, but if your wrist is greater than 8 inches in diameter you’ll need to also order the XL band.
Sensiband is a single use only medical device according to the Center for Disease Control and FDA Regulations.
